The Birth of Tresley's Fine Food
After their bacon letdown, Trevor and Wesley decided to take matters into their own hands. In 2015, they founded Tresley’s Fine Food on a quaint farm in the Free State, marking the beginning of their flavourful venture.

Tresley’s Fine Food takes pride in delivering a diverse range of products to cater to every palate. From the signature smoked bacon to bacon bits, cooked pork neck ham, and cooked gammon – there’s something for everyone. The menu also boasts New York Style pastrami, pork sausage, breakfast sausage, pork ribs, kielbasa sausage, Tresley’s Boerewors, burger patties, and more.

At Tresley’s Fine Food, the passion for quality extends beyond bacon and smoked salmon. From savoury sausages to succulent pork ribs, our diverse product line caters to every palate. Whether you crave the bold flavours of New York Style Pastrami or the traditional taste of Boerenkaas, Tresley’s Fine Food has something to delight every discerning palate.
Smoked Bacon
(250g)
Made from locally sourced pork bellies, our Bacon is dry cured, using our own special curing recipe and then hot smoked over apple wood.
Smoked Salmon
(200g)
Our Salmon, imported from Norway, arrives in Johannesburg packed on crushed ice and never frozen. When it arrives at Tresley’s, we gently cure it and cold smoke it over Oak wood.
Cooked Smoked Pork Neck Ham & Gammon
(200g)
Our smoked Pork Neck Ham and Gammon is the go-to for Eggs Benedict, great sandwiches, pizza and pasta dishes.
New York Style Pastrami
(200g)
Using only deboned beef brisket, we dry cure with our own blend of herbs and spices. The Pastrami then visits our smoke house for a four-hour smoke over Applewood. It is then gently ‘sous-vide’ for 3 hours, and once cooled, sliced and packed.
Kielbasa Sausage
(250g)
Kielbasa Sausage originated in Poland. It contains Pork, Beef, Salt, Pepper, Marjoram and Garlic.
Salami Toscana
(100g)
An extremely well-balanced salami with a different blend of herbs and spices. Resulting in a rich and creamy feel on the palate. Lightly pressed in the beginning of the curing process, which results in a more rectangular shape.
Prosciutto
(100g)
A full flavoured Italian meat that is always thinly sliced and produced here in South Africa.
Boerenkaas
(325g)
KZN produced full fat hard cheese that is smooth and creamy, with a sweet and slightly salty flavour.
